Booking Terms for the Lamborajo Boats

Booking a Lamborajo takes a 50% deposit, and the balance is due 30 days before departure. Canceling 60 days or more ahead returns 50%, and 30 to 59 days returns 25%. If the boat cannot sail, you get a replacement of the same class or higher, or a refund within 14 days.
Who contracts with you
Your contract is with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, a booking partner for the three Lamborajo boats. The boats' owner runs them under its own terms, and those are not ours: for anything booked here, these terms apply.
One set covers Lamborajo 1, Lamborajo 2 and Lamborajo 3, an open-trip cabin and a whole-boat charter alike. The quote and the invoice belong to the contract. They name the boat, the dates, the head count, the cabins and what is included.
We sell the trip, answer your questions and are responsible for the booking. The owner and the captain run the boat.
Paying the deposit and the balance
The booking is confirmed by a deposit of 50%. The balance is due 30 days before departure, and a booking made inside that window pays in full at once. Prices include 11% VAT.
Pay by bank transfer in rupiah or through a card payment link. We also take Wise, Revolut, PayPal, QRIS and Alipay; WeChat Pay goes through a payment partner. PayPal carries a 7.2% fee, shown before you pay. One invoice goes to the person who organizes the trip.
The head count and the cabin types are fixed in the quote, because the head count sets the price. Names and passport or ID details of every guest reach us by 7 days before sailing, since the boarding pass must match them.

Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine. Fees: card payment link 3%, PayPal 7.2%, EDC card machine 3%. Your issuing bank may add its own charges.
The refund scale and moving a date
How much comes back depends on how far ahead of departure you cancel. At 60 days or more you receive 50% of what you paid. From 59 to 30 days you receive 25%. A cancellation with fewer than 30 days left returns nothing. The table repeats the scale.
A move of 30 days or more before departure costs nothing, subject to availability. From 29 to 14 days the fee is IDR 500,000. With 13 days or fewer left, the move counts as a cancellation.
No fare includes travel insurance. A policy with cancellation and evacuation cover is the only protection for the part of a canceled booking the scale does not return.

If we cancel, you are refunded 100 percent · Refunds are paid within 14 days.
When a sailing cannot go ahead
When a boat cannot sail, whether from a breakdown or an order of the harbor master or the park, we offer a phinisi of the same class or higher on the same dates at no extra cost. The alternative is a full refund of everything you paid, within 14 days. If we cancel, you get everything back.
The captain sets the route on the day. Sea, weather and instructions from the authorities can change the stops, safety comes first, and a changed route costs nothing extra.

Guide, documentation and park fees
A private charter does not include the local guide or photo and video documentation. Both are available on request and quoted separately. The open-trip seat includes both.
KEXI's park package covers the government entrance ticket (PP 36/2024), the ranger and the local levies; the package is paid on top of the boat price unless the quote marks it as included. Flights, hotel nights, insurance, personal expenses and gratuity are outside it too.
Children under 3 travel free, which means ages 0 to 2. A child of 3 or older pays the full fare. Conduct that endangers the boat, the crew or the park ends the charter at once, with no refund.
Governing law, prices and 2027
Indonesian law governs the booking, including the Commercial Code (KUHD) for charters, together with the international maritime standards that apply to the boat. Disputes go to the Indonesian courts.
The prices on this site come from the 2026 price list, updated 4 May 2026. Dates in 2027 are open. For 2027, rates are on request. The list in force applies until the 2027 list is issued; if it changes before your balance is due, we tell you first and you can cancel without charge.
Consent to marketing is a separate choice from the booking. Declining it changes nothing about your trip or its price. Put any question to us on WhatsApp before you pay.

Which law governs my booking?
Indonesian law, including the Commercial Code (KUHD) for charters and the international maritime standards for the boat. Any dispute is heard in Indonesia.
When do names and passport details reach you?
By 7 days before sailing. Sending them with the balance leaves time to correct a name that does not match its passport.
Can the price change after I book?
For a date on the 2026 list, the quote states the total before you pay a deposit. For 2027 dates, the list in force applies, and if it changes before the balance you are told first and can cancel without charge.
Does behavior on board affect my refund?
Yes. Conduct that endangers the boat, the crew or the park ends the charter at once, and no refund is due.
