Splitting a large group across two Lamborajo boats

Above 25 guests, a group needs two boats. 16 guests on Lamborajo 1 and 16 on Lamborajo 2 cost IDR 142,000,000 for a private 3D2N, or IDR 4,440,000 each. Each boat is a separate quote with its own deposit, and two boats on the same dates are confirmed in writing, never promised in advance.

All figures are 3D2N, whole boat, from the 2026 price list updated 4 May 2026, with each per-person figure rounded to the nearest IDR 10,000.
- 32 guests, 16 and 16 on Lamborajo 1 and 2: IDR 45,000,000 (≈ USD 2,761) plus IDR 97,000,000 (≈ USD 5,951) makes IDR 142,000,000, or IDR 4,440,000 each.
- 40 guests, 20 and 20 on Lamborajo 1 and 2: IDR 48,000,000 (≈ USD 2,945) plus IDR 107,000,000 (≈ USD 6,564) makes IDR 155,000,000, or IDR 3,880,000 each.
- 44 guests, 22 and 22 on Lamborajo 1 and 2: IDR 52,000,000 plus IDR 113,000,000, with two guests above 20 on each boat, makes IDR 165,000,000, or IDR 3,750,000 each.

Who sails on which boat: families, seniors, staff
A split lets each half get what it needs. Families and older guests go on the boat with a private bathroom in every cabin, Lamborajo 2 or 3. Students, staff or the younger half take Lamborajo 1, where four of the six cabins share bathrooms and the price is lowest.
The private 3D2N is the same printed route on all three boats, and all three print the same cruising speed of 7 to 10 knots. Nobody is on a lesser trip, only in a simpler cabin.
Lamborajo 1 closes at 24, Lamborajo 2 at 25 and Lamborajo 3 at 22. Lamborajo 1 and 2 together carry up to 49 guests; Lamborajo 2 and 3 up to 47. The table sets cabin types against party size.

The same Monday or Friday on both boats
Open trips leave on Mondays and Fridays on all three boats, so two boats can share a departure day. For Lamborajo 1 and 2 the cards print one meeting time, 09:00, and a 10:00 sailing; for Lamborajo 3 the meeting time and route are confirmed in writing. On the water, each captain sets the order of stops for that boat.
Private charters work differently. Each boat's dates are agreed separately, and two boats on the same dates are confirmed in writing. If one of the two is taken, the group moves to another date or another pairing, and we say so in the same message that confirms the first boat.
The calendar below shows the open-trip dates, identical for the three boats.
Scheduled departures are on Mondays and Fridays; our team confirms seats for each date.
One payer, two quotes
Two boats mean two quotes. Each carries its own deposit of 50% and its own balance, due 30 days before sailing. Each follows the cancellation scale on its own: 50% back at 60 days or more, 25% between 59 and 30 days.
One person can pay both. How the two payments reach us is set out in writing with the quotes.
Neither quote includes the local guide or the photo documentation; on a private charter both are quoted separately. Park tickets sit outside both fares, each bought in the visitor's own name, and the ranger fee is separate again. With the same exclusions on both sides, the two quotes compare fairly.
When two small boats cost more than one large one
Splitting a group that fits one boat costs more. 22 guests on Lamborajo 2 pay IDR 113,000,000 in total, or IDR 5,140,000 (≈ USD 315) each. The same 22 split 11 and 11 across Lamborajo 1 and 2 would pay IDR 43,000,000 plus IDR 88,000,000: IDR 131,000,000, or IDR 5,950,000 each.
The band is the reason. Each boat charges its 1-to-12 price however few guests are aboard, so two half-empty boats pay for two sets of empty beds. It is the same arithmetic that makes 8 guests on Lamborajo 1 pay as much as 12.
So split only when no single boat carries the group, or when the two halves really want two price levels. Otherwise one boat with the right bathrooms costs less and is simpler to run.

Lamborajo 1 and 2 together carry up to 49 guests; Lamborajo 2 and 3 up to 47. Two boats on the same dates are confirmed in writing.
Can the two groups meet at the stops?
We do not promise it. Each captain decides the order of stops on the day, with the weather and the park quota.
Do we get one invoice for both boats?
Each boat is a separate quote with its own deposit. How a combined group is invoiced is agreed in writing when we quote.
What is the cheapest pairing?
Lamborajo 1 with Lamborajo 2. For 44 guests split 22 and 22 it comes to IDR 3,750,000 each, and 24 on Lamborajo 1 with 20 on Lamborajo 2 brings it to IDR 3,700,000.
