Private phinisi charter prices in Labuan Bajo, whole boat and per person

Divide the whole-boat price by your real head count, not by the band. Each table below does that for every length on the price list, from 2 guests up to the maximum for the boat. These four head counts show the pattern on 3D2N, in the order Lamborajo 1, Lamborajo 2, Lamborajo 3:

• 8 guests: IDR 5,380,000 (≈ USD 330), IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675), IDR 15,120,000 (≈ USD 928) each.
• 12 guests: IDR 3,580,000 (≈ USD 220), IDR 7,330,000 (≈ USD 450), IDR 10,080,000 (≈ USD 618) each.
• 16 guests: IDR 2,810,000 (≈ USD 172), IDR 6,060,000 (≈ USD 372), IDR 8,120,000 (≈ USD 498) each.
• 20 guests: IDR 2,400,000 (≈ USD 147), IDR 5,350,000 (≈ USD 328), IDR 7,000,000 (≈ USD 429) each.

Below 12 guests the total does not fall, so each empty seat raises everyone's share: 8 guests pay the 12-guest total. Above 12 the band changes and the share drops, until the next band starts. On Lamborajo 1, 17 guests pay IDR 2,820,000 (≈ USD 173) each, slightly more than 16 guests at IDR 2,810,000 (≈ USD 172), because the band changes at 17.

The 2026 price list, updated 4 May 2026, prints the same four lengths and the same three guest bands for all three boats. Only the amounts differ, and the amounts are the comparison. Whole boat, 3D2N:

• 1 to 12 guests: IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638), IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399), IDR 121,000,000 (≈ USD 7,423).
• 13 to 16 guests: IDR 45,000,000 (≈ USD 2,761), IDR 97,000,000 (≈ USD 5,951), IDR 130,000,000 (≈ USD 7,975).
• 17 to 20 guests: IDR 48,000,000 (≈ USD 2,945), IDR 107,000,000 (≈ USD 6,564), IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589).
• Each guest above 20: IDR 2,000,000 (≈ USD 123) on Lamborajo 1 up to 24 guests, IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) on Lamborajo 2 up to 25, IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) on Lamborajo 3 up to 22.

The Luxury boats cost about two to three times the Superior one for the same itinerary: at 12 guests Lamborajo 2 is 2.0 times Lamborajo 1 and Lamborajo 3 is 2.8 times. The step from Lamborajo 1 to Lamborajo 2 is IDR 45,000,000, IDR 52,000,000 or IDR 59,000,000 depending on the band. The step from Lamborajo 2 to Lamborajo 3 is IDR 33,000,000 in every band.

The fare pays for the boat and the people who work it. That means pickup and drop-off in Labuan Bajo, an air-conditioned cabin, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the cook and the Lamborajo crew, the sun deck, a tender boat, snorkeling equipment, mineral water, snack, coffee and tea, and life jackets. Pickup is from your hotel or the airport, and the pickup point is agreed in writing before you pay.

Three groups of costs sit outside it. Komodo park tickets and ranger fees are never in a fare. A local guide and a photo and video set are not included on any private charter. Flights, a hotel in Labuan Bajo, insurance, personal spending and gratuity are yours as well.

Menus are not promised beyond breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ask about a dietary need at booking, and we confirm in writing what the boat can do.

A park ticket is bought per visitor. The rate is IDR 250,000 for an international visitor and IDR 50,000 for an Indonesian citizen on a weekday, with IDR 75,000 at the weekend. The ranger fee and local levies are not charged on their own: they sit in KEXI's park package with the government ticket (PP 36/2024); the package is paid on top of the boat price unless the quote marks it as included.

A local guide is not included on a private charter. It is available on request and quoted separately, as is a photo and video set shot by drone, mirrorless camera and GoPro. On the open trip, both the guide and the documentation are included in the seat price; that difference is why a whole-boat share and a seat are not a like-for-like saving.

The same price list prints three other lengths. A full day costs IDR 32,000,000 (≈ USD 1,963) on Lamborajo 1 for up to 16 guests. It costs IDR 55,000,000 (≈ USD 3,374) on Lamborajo 2 for up to 25, and IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663) on Lamborajo 3 for up to 22. The printed route is Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo.

For 2D1N and 1 to 12 guests the boats cost IDR 38,000,000 (≈ USD 2,331), IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663) and IDR 109,000,000 (≈ USD 6,687). For 4D3N and 1 to 12 guests they cost IDR 49,000,000 (≈ USD 3,006), IDR 104,000,000 (≈ USD 6,380) and IDR 137,000,000 (≈ USD 8,405). Day 1 stops on the 4D3N are confirmed in writing, and so are the pickup and return times for every length.

3D2N is the length the open trip sails, so it is the one where a seat and a whole boat compare cleanly. The tables below carry every band.

A private charter is booked in three steps. First, send the boat you lean toward (or not sure), the dates and the head count; a written quote comes back with the price for your band and length. Second, pay the 50 percent deposit, which holds the boat and the date. Third, pay the balance 30 days before sailing.

Nothing else is added to the fare without a written quote: a guide, a photo set or a dinner ashore each come as their own line before you pay.

The deposit is 50 percent, and the balance is due 30 days before sailing. A cancellation 60 days or more ahead refunds 50 percent. One between 30 and 59 days ahead refunds 25 percent. The table below gives the window for every case, and a date change inside the reschedule window costs IDR 500,000.

If the boat cannot sail because of a breakdown or an order from the harbor master or the park, we provide a phinisi of the same class or higher on the same dates at no extra cost. The alternative is a full refund within 14 days. These are the terms of PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, the booking partner. The shipowner's own terms are not ours.

Payment goes to PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, the partner that books the three boats. The methods are listed below, and the card payment link carries the processor's fee on the invoice. Private-charter dates are agreed in writing, so the start day is not tied to the Monday and Friday pattern of the open trip.

The shipowner runs the boat and the crew. We sell the booking, answer your questions and are responsible for it. If a figure on this page differs from your written quote, tell us; the quote states the price for your dates.

The bands above are the same for every group; what changes is the boat that suits it. A company outing of 25 fits only Lamborajo 2, a family of 14 to 22 fits all three, and 24 friends fit Lamborajo 1 or 2. Each occasion page names the boat, the route adjustments and the total for that head count.
