One day, three stops: Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo

The printed one-day route is short on names and long on hours. Pickup from your Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport is at 05:00, the boat leaves around 06:30, and the first stop is the Padar ridge walk.

Pink Beach follows with a swim and a snorkel, lunch is aboard, and the Komodo walk with a ranger closes the list. The boat is back in Labuan Bajo in the early evening, then a transfer to your hotel. The exact time is in your written itinerary.

All three boats print the same stops and the same cruising speed of 7 to 10 knots. On a day trip the cabins go unused, so the decks, the dining area and the price are what differ.

The order of the day, with who decides

The card sets the stops and the hour of departure; the park quota, the tide and the weather set the order on the day. The captain decides and tells the group.

If the Padar quota is full, the substitute is the captain's call, made at the time and told to you at once. Nothing is added to the fare for a changed order. Two things stay fixed on the card, the three stop names and the pickup hour; everything between them moves.

What a one-day quote looks like per boat

Full-day prices are for the whole boat within one head-count band. Lamborajo 1 prices a day for 1 to 16 guests at IDR 32,000,000 (≈ USD 1,963). Lamborajo 2 prices 1 to 25 guests at IDR 55,000,000 (≈ USD 3,374), and Lamborajo 3 prices 1 to 22 guests at IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663).

Divided by 12 guests, that is IDR 2,670,000 (≈ USD 164) per person on Lamborajo 1, IDR 4,580,000 (≈ USD 281) on Lamborajo 2 and IDR 6,330,000 (≈ USD 388) on Lamborajo 3. A guest above the band pays the per-guest add-on from the same price list.

Prices are from the 2026 price list, updated 4 May 2026. A day trip has no open-trip equivalent, so the whole-boat price is the only price.

Full day or a night aboard: the trade

The 2D1N route holds the same three stops on its second day and adds Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong on the first. Pickup moves from 05:00 to 10:00, and the boat is back between 18:00 and 19:00 on day 2.

In rupiah, the step from the day trip to the 2D1N is IDR 38,000,000 (≈ USD 2,331) against IDR 32,000,000 (≈ USD 1,963) on Lamborajo 1, IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663) against IDR 55,000,000 (≈ USD 3,374) on Lamborajo 2, and IDR 109,000,000 (≈ USD 6,687) against IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663) on Lamborajo 3.

Pick the day if the calendar allows nothing else, or if the group wants the cheapest way onto a phinisi. Pick the night if a 05:00 pickup is the thing you dread.

FAQ

How much is a full-day phinisi charter in Komodo?

For the whole boat: IDR 32,000,000 (≈ USD 1,963) on Lamborajo 1 for up to 16 guests, IDR 55,000,000 (≈ USD 3,374) on Lamborajo 2 and IDR 76,000,000 (≈ USD 4,663) on Lamborajo 3. Park entry and the guide are separate.

Is a full-day charter possible on a Lamborajo?

Yes, as a private whole-boat day with three stops: Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo. Pickup is at 05:00 and the boat is back in Labuan Bajo in the early evening; the exact time is in your written itinerary.

Which Lamborajo suits a day trip?

Any of the three, since the route and the cruising speed are the same. Lamborajo 1 costs least, and Lamborajo 2 and Lamborajo 3 add decks and a bar for a longer day in the sun.

Are the park tickets in the one-day price?

No. One KEXI park package per guest bundles the entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day under PP 36/2024) with the ranger fee and local levies, paid on top of the boat price unless your quote says it is included.

What time does the day trip finish?

In the early evening. The exact time is agreed in writing, because the park quota and the tide set the order of the stops.
