Sebayur Island and the Lamborajo Boats
Updated 20 October 2026
Sebayur is not a stop on any Lamborajo rate card we hold. If a route includes it, the written itinerary says so before you pay. The island lies roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by boat from Labuan Bajo, with beaches and reefs for snorkeling.
Sebayur on the Lamborajo cards: not printed
None of the owner's cards for Lamborajo 1, 2 or 3 names Sebayur. The private routes print Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo, Taka Makassar and Manta Point; the open trip prints the same names in another order.
So this page makes no claim about any of the three boats. It exists because guests ask about the island, and a plain answer saves a round of messages.
Whether a Lamborajo can add Sebayur to a private route is confirmed in writing before the deposit. Until then the answer is: not on the card.

What Sebayur is
Sebayur is the larger of the Sebayur islands, close to Flores. Beaches and nearby reefs make it a snorkeling stop and a place for a meal ashore.
Depth over the reef runs from about 2 to 10 meters with a mild current, and a snorkeling session of 45 to 90 minutes is normal here. The island sits outside the dragon trekking area, so it adds no wildlife walk to a day.
The sail from Labuan Bajo takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Every Lamborajo cruises at 7 to 10 knots, so the boat does not change that.
If you want it on your route: how to ask
Put it in the first message, with the length of trip, the dates and the number of guests. A private charter is the only product with room to change a route; the open trip follows its printed order.
We reply with a written itinerary that says whether Sebayur fits the days and the sailing time. Nothing is added to a quote without a written line for it.
Park entry applies to each day inside the national park: IDR 250,000 per international visitor, IDR 50,000 per Indonesian citizen on weekdays and IDR 75,000 at weekends and on public holidays. It is never in a fare.
The printed stops that fill the same slot
Two printed stops do the job Sebayur would do. Manjarite is the snorkel that follows Kelor on private day 1, and Pink Beach is the snorkel and swim stop of day 2 on both routes.
Taka Makassar adds a third, shallow and easy, between the Komodo trek and Manta Point on the private route.
Anyone who wants a beach meal rather than a reef can ask for it as a special request in writing; the quote states what is possible on your dates.
FAQ
Does a Lamborajo stop at Sebayur?
Not on any rate card we hold. If your route includes Sebayur, the written itinerary says so before you pay.
How far is Sebayur from Labuan Bajo?
Roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by boat. The three Lamborajo boats print the same cruising speed of 7 to 10 knots.
Can I snorkel at Sebayur?
Yes, the reefs near the island are a snorkeling stop, at depths of about 2 to 10 meters. That describes the island, not a Lamborajo route.
What printed stop replaces Sebayur?
Manjarite and Pink Beach are the snorkel stops on the private 3D2N, and Taka Makassar adds a shallow third.
