Choosing between Lamborajo 1, 2 and 3: three answers and a table
Updated 20 October 2026
Three answers pick the boat: the guest count, whether every cabin needs its own bathroom, and the budget per person. Lamborajo 1 is the cheapest, with 2 private bathrooms for 6 cabins. Lamborajo 2 takes up to 25 guests with all 8 cabins ensuite. Lamborajo 3 adds jacuzzi cabins, at IDR 33,000,000 more than Lamborajo 2 in every band.
Three questions that pick the boat: guests, bathrooms, budget
Start with the guest count, because it rules boats out. Lamborajo 1 carries up to 24, Lamborajo 2 up to 25 and Lamborajo 3 up to 22. At 23 guests or more only two boats remain; above 25, no single boat takes the group.
Bathrooms come next. Lamborajo 1 prints 2 private bathrooms for its 6 cabins, and 2 shared bathrooms serve the other 4. On Lamborajo 2 and 3 each of the 8 cabins has a private bathroom with hot water. If every couple needs its own, Lamborajo 1 drops out.
Budget settles the rest. A private 3D2N for 12 guests costs IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) on Lamborajo 1, IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399) on Lamborajo 2 and IDR 121,000,000 (≈ USD 7,423) on Lamborajo 3. For the same itinerary, the two Luxury boats cost roughly two to three times the Superior one.
The grid again, with the cell where each boat loses
No boat wins every row. Lamborajo 1 loses on bathrooms, fit-out and water gear, and wins on price by a wide margin. Lamborajo 2 lists no jacuzzi in any cabin, but it carries the most guests: 25. Lamborajo 3 loses on guest count and prints neither a TV nor a canoe; it is the only one with jacuzzi cabins, on a 38 m hull.
The grid sets the three side by side, one fact per row, with the unit in each header. Read down a column to see one boat, and across a row to see which boat takes that fact. Where a brochure prints nothing, the cell says on request instead of guessing.

The decision table, twelve situations: groups first
Prices are 3D2N from the 2026 price list: the whole-boat price divided by the head count, or the per-person price of an open-trip seat.
- 8 guests, lowest cost: Lamborajo 1 at IDR 5,380,000 (≈ USD 330) each, against IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) on Lamborajo 2. The first band covers 1 to 12, so 8 guests pay the 12-guest total. Pick another boat if every couple needs a private bathroom.
- 8 guests, a bathroom per cabin: Lamborajo 2 at IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) each. Lamborajo 3, at IDR 15,120,000 (≈ USD 928), makes sense only for the jacuzzi cabins.
- 12 guests, cost first: Lamborajo 1 at IDR 3,580,000 (≈ USD 220) each. Lamborajo 2 at IDR 7,330,000 (≈ USD 450) if six couples want private bathrooms.
- 16 friends splitting a boat: Lamborajo 1 at IDR 2,810,000 (≈ USD 172) each, below the IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) Share Cabin seat, though a charter leaves out the guide and documentation. Lamborajo 2 comes to IDR 6,060,000 (≈ USD 372).
- 20 colleagues: Lamborajo 2 at IDR 5,350,000 (≈ USD 328) each, invoiced to the company. Lamborajo 1 is IDR 2,400,000 (≈ USD 147), Lamborajo 3 IDR 7,000,000 (≈ USD 429).
- 22 guests: Lamborajo 2 at IDR 5,140,000 (≈ USD 315) each, against IDR 6,640,000 (≈ USD 407) on Lamborajo 3, which is then full.
The decision table, continued: big groups, couples, families
- 24 or 25 guests: Lamborajo 1 takes 24 at IDR 2,330,000 (≈ USD 143) each; Lamborajo 2 takes up to 25 at IDR 4,880,000 (≈ USD 299) each. Lamborajo 3 stops at 22. Above 25, the group splits across two boats.
- A couple, own bathroom, lowest fare: the Master Ocean on Lamborajo 1, IDR 4,550,000 (≈ USD 279) per person. The Superior on Lamborajo 2, IDR 5,200,000 (≈ USD 319), costs IDR 650,000 more.
- A couple who want a balcony or a jacuzzi: the Master Ocean View on Lamborajo 2, IDR 7,450,000 (≈ USD 457), for a balcony; the Master Ocean on Lamborajo 3, IDR 9,700,000 (≈ USD 595), for both. The step between them is IDR 2,250,000 per person.
- A family of 4 in one cabin: the Family Ocean View on Lamborajo 2, IDR 7,200,000 (≈ USD 442) per person for the first two guests; the price for guests 3 and 4 is confirmed in writing. The Master Ocean on Lamborajo 1 also takes 4, with its own bathroom, for less.
- One traveler: a bed in the Lamborajo 1 Share Cabin, IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184). Every other cabin on the three boats needs 2 paying guests.
- Mixed budgets on one boat: Lamborajo 3 spans IDR 5,750,000 (≈ USD 353) to IDR 10,950,000 (≈ USD 672), the widest spread in one hull. Lamborajo 2 spans IDR 5,200,000 (≈ USD 319) to IDR 7,450,000 (≈ USD 457).
The step up, once in rupiah
Between Lamborajo 2 and Lamborajo 3 the gap on a private 3D2N is IDR 33,000,000 in every band. That is the number to remember, because the head count does not move it. Per person it comes to IDR 2,750,000 at 12 guests, IDR 2,060,000 at 16 and IDR 1,650,000 at 20.
From Lamborajo 1 to Lamborajo 2 the gap widens with each band: IDR 45,000,000 at 12 guests, IDR 52,000,000 at 16 and IDR 59,000,000 at 20. Per person that is IDR 3,750,000, IDR 3,250,000 and IDR 2,950,000.
None of that money changes the route, the park or the stops. What it does buy, item by item, is set out in the guide on the step from Superior to Luxury.
Two cases where we would send you to another trip
Divers first. All three are snorkeling boats, and no brochure prints dive equipment. If diving is the reason for the trip, book with a dive operator, or say so in your first message and we confirm in writing what is possible. Snorkelers lose nothing: the private 3D2N has four snorkel stops.
Weddings are the second case. No brochure prints a wedding service, and our services list does not include one. That list covers meetings, team outings, family gatherings, island dinners, dinners with a special request and cabin decoration, each quoted in writing.
Everyone else fits one of the twelve rows. If none matches, send the head count, the dates and private or open trip, and the reply names one boat with the reason in a line.
FAQ
Which Lamborajo is best for 12 guests?
Lamborajo 1 if cost comes first, at IDR 3,580,000 (≈ USD 220) per person. Lamborajo 2, at IDR 7,330,000 (≈ USD 450), if every cabin needs a private bathroom.
What is the real difference between Superior and Luxury?
Taking Lamborajo 2 as the example: a private bathroom in all 8 cabins instead of 2 in 6, two more cabins, a bar, a TV, a jacuzzi on deck, a canoe and paddle boards. In rupiah, Lamborajo 2 is about double Lamborajo 1, and Lamborajo 3 close to triple.
Should I pick Lamborajo 3 or Lamborajo 2?
Lamborajo 3 for a jacuzzi and a private balcony in 4 cabins. Lamborajo 2 for 25 guests instead of 22, plus a TV and a canoe. On a private 3D2N the difference is IDR 33,000,000.
Is the Luxury class worth it?
Only if you will use what it adds: a private bathroom for everyone, a balcony or a jacuzzi, room for 25. If none of that matters to your group, Lamborajo 1 does the job for less than half.
