Lamborajo phinisi fleet
Three days, two nights on a Lamborajo phinisi
Updated 20 October 2026
The same private 3D2N costs IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) on Superior Lamborajo 1 and IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399) or IDR 121,000,000 (≈ USD 7,423) on Luxury Lamborajo 2 or 3, for 1 to 12 guests. The private route opens on Kelor, the open trip on Manta Point, and both end around midday on day 3.
The private route and the open-trip route, side by side
Two versions of the 3D2N are printed. On a private charter, day 1 is Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong, and day 2 packs in the Padar trek, Pink Beach, the Komodo walk, Taka Makassar and Manta Point.
The open trip, printed for Lamborajo 1 and Lamborajo 2, runs the other way round. Day 1 is Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Padar. Day 2 is Pink Beach, Komodo, one snorkel stop confirmed in writing, and Kalong at sunset. Lamborajo 3 runs its open trip on the same days, and its route is confirmed in writing.
The detail that separates them: the Padar trek opens day 2 on the private route and closes day 1 on the open trip.

Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
Days 1 and 2, stop by stop
On the private route, pickup is at 10:00 and lunch is served on board. Day 1 is the easy one: a short hill walk, a snorkel and the bats at dusk. Day 2 is the long one, five stops from the Padar climb to the manta drift.
The open trip meets at 09:00 at the airport or your hotel and sails at 10:00. Day 1 goes straight to the manta reef, then the sandbar, then the Padar ridge. Day 2 starts at Pink Beach.
Both versions include the Komodo walk with a ranger and the Kalong sunset. The private route sees the bats on the first evening, the open trip on the second.
Day 3: a short morning and a midday return
The private card ends with a last morning stop, named in your written itinerary. The open trip ends on Kelor. Either way the boat is back in Labuan Bajo around midday.
The private card prints a return at about 11:30 and hotel arrival about an hour later; the exact times are agreed in writing. Book flights home for after 14:00 to leave a margin for the transfer.
Day 3 is short by design. Plan on lunch ashore and an afternoon flight, not on one more long stop.

Which stops move with weather and park quota
The order of stops flexes with the weather and the park quota. The captain swaps Manta Point and Taka Makassar to suit the tide, because sightings and the sandbar both depend on it.
Manta sightings are not guaranteed. The open-trip card says so in print, and the same holds on the private route.
The captain decides any change on the day. Toward the far end of day 2 the legs are short: roughly 30 to 60 minutes from Pink Beach to Komodo and from Komodo to Manta Point, and 20 to 30 minutes from Manta Point to Taka Makassar. The legs table and the map show the full spacing.

What the fare covers and what it never does
Both versions cover pickup and drop-off, the boat, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the crew, snorkeling equipment, mineral water, coffee and tea, and life jackets.
The open-trip seat adds a local guide and photo and video documentation. A private charter does not include them; both are quoted separately on request. Park tickets and ranger fees are never in a fare.

FAQ
What does a 3D2N charter cost on a Superior and a Luxury phinisi?
For 1 to 12 guests, whole boat: IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) on Superior Lamborajo 1, IDR 88,000,000 (≈ USD 5,399) on Luxury Lamborajo 2 and IDR 121,000,000 (≈ USD 7,423) on Luxury Lamborajo 3. The route is the same.
How many days do I need for Padar and Pink Beach?
Three days and two nights cover both, in either version. On the private route they fall together on day 2; on the open trip Padar is on day 1 and Pink Beach opens day 2.
Which version of the 3D2N is better for a group?
The private route, because the group sets the pace and has the whole boat. The open trip suits couples and small parties who want a cabin, not a boat.
Is Manta Point guaranteed on the 3D2N?
No. The open-trip card prints that manta sightings are not guaranteed, and the private route makes no promise either.
Where does the boat sleep?
Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day.
What time does the 3D2N end?
Around midday on day 3. The private card prints a return at about 11:30; the exact time is agreed in writing.
Is the Lamborajo 3 route the same as Lamborajo 1 and 2?
The private route is the same printed template on all three boats. For Lamborajo 3, the open-trip route is confirmed in writing before you pay.
